Join us for another AfroKlash Event in the DMV for a packed two-day weekend to be inspired, build new connections, and grow your local community. 

Following the success of our first sold-out event, this year on Saturday October 21st, we have put together another one-of-a-kind lineup of 11 trailblazing African women across industries, to speak on the topic: "Getting Out of Your Own Way." We’ve all been there; you want to post more online and think “I look cringe” or “everyone else has better content,” or you have that great business idea and think “it’s already been done before” or “there’s no way I can accomplish this, it’s too big,” or you want to go out for that promotion at work but think you are not good enough to pitch yourself. This year's lineup of coaches, business founders, and creators will provide you with tangible insight and advice on how to stop holding yourself back; in life, your business and on your ideas. It will be an action packed day of workshops, interactive panels, and an inspiring keynote to help you get your ideas to the next level.

But there's more! This year we are getting the boys involved for a speed networking BYOB (Bring Your Own Boy) brunch in Washington, DC. Beyond providing spaces for us to get inspired to move forward with our ideas, AfroKlash is also all about building intentional community. On Sunday October 22nd, we will wind down the weekend with brunch and drinks to provide curated moments for you to connect with new people in the DMV area, whether you're looking for that new job referral, new brunch or travel buddy or even a new bae. Bring your favorite guy friend along for a day of fun networking and vibes.
